The Doss Trento by Albrecht Durer painting dates back to 1495, living long enough to this time. It was created by Albrecht Durer, making it one of his prominent pieces in his diverse portfolio. Like an oil painting, the original has maintained its texture and colors over the centuries and is now located at the Albertina Museum in Vienna.

If you need to view the original, the Albertina Museum is the only location; otherwise, you can get reproduced paintings from around the world. Its primary style is the northern renaissance with a landscape genre. The Doc Trento is one of the main works that directly inspired his northern renaissance when he was situated in Germany. It is here that he ended up producing other artworks and paintings such as Dos Trento. The Renaissance theme is quite clear from the colors to the architecture and the entire setting from the painting. A tiny inscription is more like a signature that Albrecht Durer decided to add to this unique painting from painting. The painting seems to show a direct link to the lifestyle of the Renaissance period due to the lack of advanced infrastructure.

The architecture of the houses represented in this painting is as renaissance as it gets. The houses seem to be scattered all over the land, with the main at the front acting as a fort. The painting seems to represent a setting next to a waterway that could probably be the sea or a lake or a significant river where the whole settlement has grown. In the background, there is a hill which Albrecht Durer has given more texture to represent how rocky it is. Some houses seem to be built at the top of the mountain, which was relatively normal during the renaissance period. The fort is correct at the waterway's mouth, with a small beach area with rocky walls being the first section to encounter when coming in contact with the settlement area.

At the very top left of the painting is some building structure showing that the settlement might be all around the rocky hill. The lower right side of the painting shows additional land seen over the horizon, suggesting that the land is much bigger than it seems in the painting. The use of washed colors seems to be his artistic way to show the mood of the renaissance period.
